Reference: ae318860 Job Purpose I am a charming and kind-hearted 40‑year‑old woman living with severe Global Developmental Delay. I have the mental capacity of around a 5‑year‑old and am also diagnosed with nocturnal epilepsy. I have limited mobility, and while I am able to walk short distances, I require support when using stairs or steps. I am non‑verbal and unable to read or write, and I communicate using my own version of Makaton sign language. Although I am generally charming and good‑natured, I can sometimes be reluctant to do things and may need gentle prompting and patience. We are looking for a Personal Assistant who is jolly in nature, patient, and willing to learn. Should this job role include any of the following duties: food preparation, moving & handling, chemical handling (general household cleaning products) or the handling of medication, you will be required to undertake mandatory training.
