We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager – Exhibitions to lead the end-to-end delivery of exhibition stands, trade shows and experiential builds. The following is most beneficial; Hands-on experience in the planning, production, and delivery of exhibition stands, branded environments, and live events. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing multi-skilled teams on-site, coordinating logistics, overseeing signage and AV installations, and ensuring high-quality delivery to tight deadlines. Candidates must be comfortable working on-site, supervising build and breakdown operations, liaising with clients, and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
This is a high-paying, outside IR35 contract based in Birmingham, offering the opportunity to take ownership of fast-track, high-profile projects from concept through to live show delivery and dismantle.
🎯 The Role
You’ll manage the full lifecycle of exhibition projects including:
* Client liaison from brief to completion
* Design coordination, technical development & fabrication oversight
* Budget ownership & commercial control
* Supplier & contractor management
* Onsite build-up, live show support & breakdown
* Venue compliance, H&S & CDM adherence
You’ll be the driving force ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget and to exceptional quality standards.
✅ What We’re Looking For
* 5+ years delivering exhibition stand builds / trade shows / experiential projects
* Strong understanding of temporary structures & modular systems
* Proven onsite installation management experience
* Commercially astute with strong negotiation skills
* Comfortable managing multiple concurrent fast-track projects
* Solid knowledge of UK exhibition regulations & H&S compliance
* Basic Knowledge of Cad/Mechanical Engineering practices
