Overview
Our client is investing heavily in digital growth and is seeking a commercially driven Head of Digital Marketing to take ownership of website performance and lead generation strategy across multiple brands. This is a high-impact, senior role where you will directly influence enquiry generation, conversion rates, and overall digital performance.
The Role
As Head of Digital Marketing, you will lead and optimise the performance of multiple group websites, ensuring they function as effective lead generation tools rather than static brand sites. You will take a hands‑on and strategic approach, focusing on:
* Driving qualified leads and improving conversion rates
* Strengthening SEO performance across all brands
* Enhancing website journeys and user experience
* Aligning digital activity with commercial growth objectives
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement a group‑wide website marketing strategy
* Own and improve website performance, including CRO, SEO, and lead generation
* Analyse user behaviour and website performance data to drive improvements
* Optimise landing pages, enquiry flows, and conversion journeys
* Lead SEO strategy (technical, on‑page, content, and keyword planning)
* Collaborate with sales, content, design, and development teams
* Deliver A/B testing, funnel optimisation, and performance improvements
* Build reporting dashboards and communicate insights to stakeholders
* Monitor competitor activity and identify growth opportunities
About You
You will be a commercially focused digital marketing leader who understands how to turn website traffic into meaningful business enquiries. You will:
* Bring a data‑driven mindset with strong analytical capability
* Be confident working across multiple brands and stakeholders
* Combine strategic thinking with hands‑on execution
* Understand how website performance ties directly to revenue growth
Skills & Experience Required
* Proven experience in a senior digital marketing / SEO / CRO / website performance role
* Strong knowledge of conversion rate optimisation (CRO), SEO (technical, on‑page, and content), website structure and UX principles, and B2B website lead generation
* Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into action
* Experience with tools such as GA4, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar
* Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
Desirable
* Experience across multi‑brand or multi‑site environments
* Knowledge of CMS platforms (e.g. WordPress, Shopify, Webflow)
* Understanding of CRM integration (e.g. HubSpot)
* Exposure to paid media or broader performance marketing channels
