What you’ll do on a typical day:
* Manage and coordinate the work activities within your large team of warehouse colleagues, whilst ensuring a customer focused approach with a responsive nature to customer requirements
* Co-ordinate customer requirements, ensuring procedural conformance, customer satisfaction and that contractual obligations are met
* Carry out the timely reporting of performance KPI and financial information, identifying trends and acting on areas for development
* Ensuring the operation meets or exceeds budgeted targets set up for export operation with the use of key operational cost drivers and P&L management
What you need to succeed at GXO:
* Previous experience supervising or managing a large team in a complex, fast-paced warehouse environment
* An understanding of key operational cost drivers and P&L or cost centre management
* Excellent team leadership skills with the ability to develop and coach teams to ensure excellent performance
* The ability to perform under pressure, efficiently managing conflicting priorities whilst keeping a level head
