Job Title: Customer Service and Administration Officer
We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service and Administration Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact at the hire counter, managing customer interactions via face-to-face, phone, and email communication.
Key Responsibilities
1. Initiate and complete hire contracts efficiently and within designated timelines.
2. Promptly inform customers of any damage charges incurred and coordinate with the workshop for repairs to ensure proper billing.
3. Advise customers on the availability of requested hire equipment.
4. Assist engineering craftsmen with administrative tasks.
5. Arrange dispatch of hire plant equipment.
6. Ensure compliance with departmental SOPs and quality assurance procedures.
7. Support MIS Ltd staff in delivering high-quality customer service and uphold the company's reputation.
8. Maintain a clean, tidy, and organized work environment.
9. Participate in stock and system audits, including performance and exception reporting.
10. Provide clerical and logistical support within the department to ensure accurate and timely information flow.
11. Liaise with the departmental manager regarding task procurement, scheduling, and costing.
12. Flexibility to work at other MIS depots if required.
Skills and Experience
* Excellent customer service skills, with strong numeracy and literacy at a National grade level.
* Proficiency in IT and basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Adaptability to new challenges and change.
* Organizational and administrative skills, including effective time management.
