We are seeking a proactive and organised Legal Secretary to support a busy Family Law department across offices in Marlow and Beaconsfield.About the FirmOur client is a highly regarded, specialist family law firm with offices across the South of England. Known for their compassionate, client-focused approach, they advise clients on a wide range of family matters including divorce and separation, financial settlements, children matters, cohabitation disputes, and pre/post-nuptial agreements. They are proud members of Resolution and consistently recognised in the Legal 500 as a leading family law practice.The RoleYou will provide high-quality secretarial and administrative support to a team of family law solicitors. Day-to-day duties will include:Audio and copy typing of correspondence, court documents and legal formsManaging fee earners' diaries, arranging appointments and meetingsDealing with client enquiries by telephone and in person with empathy and professionalismOpening and closing files, maintaining accurate case management recordsPreparing court bundles and legal documentsLiaising with courts, third parties and counselGeneral office administrationAbout YouPrevious experience as a Legal Secretary, ideally within family law (though other practice areas will be considered)Strong audio typing skills and a high level of accuracyExcellent communication skills with a warm and approachable mannerAbility to manage a busy workload and prioritise effectivelyProficiency in MS Office; experience with a case management system is advantageousA sensitive and discreet approach when dealing with clients going through difficult personal circumstancesWhat's on OfferCompetitive salary (DOE)Supportive and friendly team environmentTraining, development and career progression opportunitiesA firm that genuinely invests in its peopleTo apply, please send your CV to shannonhewes@chadwicknott.co.uk ASAP.
