About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Test Solutions & Development Manager to lead the design, development, and deployment of innovative test solutions within a fast‑paced electromechanical/electronic manufacturing environment. This is a strategic and hands‑on role where you’ll collaborate with customers, shape future test capabilities, and drive efficiency, quality, and profitability across all test operations.
What You'll Be Doing
* Develop and implement optimised test strategies for new and existing customers
* Work closely with customers to understand technical requirements and future roadmaps
* Create or enhance test specifications to meet evolving needs
* Drive revenue by promoting and delivering test solution services
* Lead improvements in test processes, cost efficiency, and performance
* Evaluate and introduce new and emerging test technologies
* Collaborate with the Production Test Manager to strengthen overall test capability
* Manage, mentor, and develop test teams to meet business objectives
* Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards
Key Outcomes
* Delivery of fully documented and effective test strategies for all customers
* 100% on‑time delivery against agreed specifications
* Profitable test solutions through cost reduction and waste elimination
* High levels of customer satisfaction and long‑term capability growth
What We’re Looking For
* HNC (or equivalent) in Electromechanical or Electronic Engineering
* Strong experience in electronic manufacturing (SMT, through‑hole, assembly, test)
* Proven track record of process improvement and efficiency gains
* Excellent communication skills with customers and suppliers
* Leadership experience with the ability to motivate and develop teams
