We’re looking for a dedicated teacher with a passion to help all pupils thrive. This is an exciting chance to develop a brand-new SEND Unit within our thriving mainstream primary school. You will take on a key role in our brand-new SEND small group room (up to 12 children), designed to support children with additional needs in a nurturing and inclusive setting. As the main classroom teacher, you will: Work closely alongside our unit TA’s, with the opportunity to build upon our bespoke SEND curriculum tailored to the needs of our pupils. Work alongside our experienced SENCos and Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to ensure our SEND provision continues to be outstanding. Have the chance to innovate our SEND curriculum, including outdoor learning and sensory-based approaches. Collaborate closely with parents, specialists, and external agencies to create a holistic and nurturing learning environment. Has proven experience working with pupils with SEND and a strong understanding of diverse needs be passionate about inclusive education and creative teaching approaches demonstrate how you can work collaboratively with staff, families, and external professionals be eager to drive the success of a brand-new provision.
