Overview
Salary up to £70,000 DOE and relocation allowance up to £5,000. We’re seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join the Lynton Vets team at Addlestone, with access to comprehensive in-house facilities and a nearby hospital in Woking.

About the Practice
Our Addlestone branch offers a comfortable environment with two consult rooms, reception, theatre, kennels, a dispensary, and in-house lab facilities. For more advanced procedures, our Woking hospital provides additional surgical facilities and modern hospital standards while maintaining a close-knit team feel.
Responsibilities
* Provide veterinary medical and surgical care across a mix of consultations and procedures.
* Attend to routine neutering, lump removals, soft tissue procedures, and other common veterinary duties.
* Collaborate with Registered Veterinary Nurses who run clinics, manage post-op care, discharges, admits, and repeat medications.
* Contribute to a team-based environment where the Vets oversee cases with nurses supporting direct patient care.
* Engage in continuous professional development and adapt to the needs of the practice, with opportunities to specialise or focus on consulting or surgery as appropriate.
Team and Growth
You’ll join a supportive team comprising seven Veterinary Surgeons, ten Registered Veterinary Nurses, student nurses, ANAs, and a reception crew. A visiting orthopaedic specialist and colleagues pursuing certifications (e.g., Dentistry) are part of the ongoing professional development environment. The practice supports charities such as Cats Protection, Guide Dogs, and Dogs Trust.
Work-Life Balance and Schedule
* Full-time role across four days and 40 hours with no out-of-hours commitment.
* 1:4 Saturday rota (8:30am–4:00pm) with time off in lieu. Part-time hours considered for the right candidate.
* Based mainly in Addlestone with occasional travel to Woking and Bagshot branches.
Location and Relocation Support
accommodation at Bagshot practice is available for relocations to ease settling in.
