Are you interested in improving equipment provision for children and young people? We are excited to offer an opportunity for a qualified Children’s Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist to join our supportive ICELS Clinical Team. This role is ideal for professionals with a minimum of three years experience who are passionate about making a difference in children's lives through equipment provision and minor adaptations.
Position Details
Location: Primarily based in Ollerton, with some home working and regular days at Middleton Court stores in Bilborough
Hours per week: 15 (Part-time)
Salary: £39,152 - £44,075 per annum (pro rata)
Working arrangements: Hybrid
Working Base: The British Red Cross, New Ollerton, NG22 9QW

About The Role
You will play a key role in supporting equipment prescribers across Health and Social Care in Nottingham City and Nottinghamshire. Your responsibilities will include:
* Providing expert advice, guidance and problem-solving around community equipment and minor adaptations
* Collaborating with professionals across sectors to ensure safe, effective, and person-centred solutions
* Supporting clinical decision-making with sound reasoning and practical insight
* Providing training to prescribers
What We’re Looking For
* Strong communication and negotiation skills
* Confidence in managing challenging situations and achieving positive outcomes
* A proactive, self-motivated approach with a commitment to continuous learning
* Solid clinical reasoning and experience of using specialist equipment in children’s therapy
* Awareness of the real-world challenges faced in clinical practice
* Competence in, or willingness to develop skills in, standard office IT systems (e.g. Webelms and Excel)
