The Mechanical Design Technician will support the Mechanical Design team by creating, updating, and maintaining 3D models, manufacturing drawings, BOMs and design release information.
A significant amount of Mechanical Design team capacity is currently taken up producing drawings, updating BOMs, preparing manufacturing information, revising models, and ensuring that all released information remains aligned following design changes. This role is required to provide dedicated support for that workload, allowing Mechanical Design Engineers to focus more of their time on project design, technical problem solving, design reviews, and manufacturing support.
The role will help improve the accuracy, consistency, and control of information released to manufacturing.
