Forklift Driver
CCT Worldwide Ltd is a freight forwarding and logistics provider. We have over 40 years experience operating in this sector and we are looking to expand our warehouse operations team based at Gravesend. We are looking for a forklift driver with a Counterbalance and Reach license.
The Role:
* Loading / unloading deliveries / dispatches.
* Checking and putting away deliveries, counting goods received.
* Picking, packing and dispatching customer orders.
* Stock control. Maintain accurate counting / checking of stock.
* Use of bar coding and scanner guns to receive/manage and monitor stock.
* General housekeeping, ensuring the warehouse is kept tidy and organised.
* Carry out duties requested by manager.
Key Requirements / Responsibilities:
* Comply with all company Health and Safety policies.
* Comply with all company Standard Operating Procedures.
* To receive goods into the warehouse, ensuring they are off loaded, sorted and palletised efficiently and accurately, taking care to check the quantity and the condition of goods received, recording any discrepancies.
* To pick and load orders accurately and efficiently.
* To move goods around the warehouse for storage or despatch, ensuring goods are correctly and safely located.
* Operate company MHE safely, in accordance with instructions.
* To accurately complete stock checks as required.
* Manual handling and physical movement of stock.
* Forklift driving preferred but not essential.
* Proficient use of bar code scanners and labelling
Individual / Personal Qualities:
* Health & Safety conscious at all times.
* Good organisation and communication skills.
* Good literacy and numeracy, so as to be able to recognize and understand product numbers and alpha / numeric codes.
* Understand basic warehousing and stock procedures.
* Able to work independently with minimum direction.
* Able to work well as part of a team.
* Capable of following instructions and documented procedures.
* Displays a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
* Displays a pro-active approach within the warehouse.
* Reliable and co-operative.
* Good time keeping.
* Good attendance.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £27,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
