As a Locum Veterinary Surgeon, you will work a mix of routine consultations, diagnostics, and surgical procedures. You will be part of a shared weekend rota with inpatient on-call duties overnight. Hours: 8.5-hour shifts (including an hour for lunch)
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality veterinary care, including consultations, surgeries, and inpatient treatment.
* Work independently and confidently in both surgical and medical cases.
* Share weekend rota responsibilities, including inpatient care and occasional on-call duties overnight.
* Maintain accurate patient records and deliver clear communication with clients.
Working Hours:
* 8.5-hour shifts with an hour for lunch.
* Shifts range between 8 AM 7 PM.
* Shared weekend rota with on-call responsibilities for inpatients overnight.
Requirements:
* MRCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon.
* Proven experience in consultations, surgery, and inpatient care.
* Confidence in managing cases independently, including overnight inpatients.
* Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to client care.
