Flood Forecasting Consultant With a background in hydrology coupled with enthusiasm for flood forecasting you will gain the opportunity to shape the delivery of our Flood Forecasting portfolio. Collaborating with professionals across our water and environment business you will also have the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of projects for clients such as water companies, infrastructure providers and government bodies including the Environment Agency, SEPA and DfI. Your remit will include: * Deliver a range of hydrology and/or modelling projects with a focus on flood forecasting. * Review, develop and test flood forecasting models using PDM, Flood Modeller and similar software. * Support innovative development in flood forecasting solutions through Machine Learning and AI. * Act as a technical lead able to drive delivery of hydrology elements of projects. * Foster a culture of growth and support, mentoring colleagues and peers through both their professional and personal development. * Provide subject matter expertise support for bids.
