Role Description
This is an exciting, full-time, on-site role for a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer located in our new factory in the Greater Sheffield Area. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of equipment including bespoke CNC machines, CNC machine tools and conventional machine tools, to ensure the smooth and safe operation of the facility. You will also be heavily involved with our implementing our capital investment, CI and custom machine development programmes and will have freedom to develop your areas of skill where they align with our needs.
Daily tasks will include performing preventive maintenance, identifying and resolving equipment issues, and conducting electrical and mechanical maintenance as required. There is also a programme of continuous improvement and capital investment, where you can utilise your skills to improve the company operations. Collaborating with team members to ensure operational efficiency and compliance with safety standards is a key part of this role.
Qualifications
* Expertise in Maintenance & Repair of CNC and conventional machinery
* Excellent electrical and mechanical fault finding and problem solving skills
* Solid skills in Preventive Maintenance to ensure equipment longevity and safety
* Experience in Electrical Maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair
* The ability to program PLCs and deliver small scale automation projects
* Understanding of workplace safety regulations and procedures in industrial settings
* Relevant technical qualifications, such as NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent in an engineering discipline
* Proficiency in using maintenance management systems is an advantage
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
