At Hill Group, we’re looking for an ambitious and driven Assistant Pre-Construction Technical Coordinator to support the delivery of high-quality homes and vibrant communities. As an Assistant Pre-Construction Technical Coordinator, you’ll: Assist in preparing design and statutory utility fee proposals for budgets, tenders, and control documents. Support preconstruction activities on a range of residential developments, focusing on less complex projects. Liaise with consultants and statutory utilities to gather, track, and manage key project documentation. Work closely with estimating, commercial, construction, and technical teams to ensure seamless preconstruction delivery. Participate in internal and client meetings, helping to drive quality, compliance, and coordination at every stage. You’ll be supported by a Senior Preconstruction Technical Coordinator or Technical Director and gain exposure to end-to-end preconstruction processes. We’re seeking someone who is: Working towards or achieved a relevant qualification (Degree, HNC/HND, NVQ Level 5). Skilled in organisation, time management, and communication. Curious, proactive, and eager to learn about all components of a tender submission. Familiar with design standards, Building Regulations, CDM requirements, and statutory processes. Able to interpret technical drawings and specifications, and keen to build knowledge in utility coordination and compliance. Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) are essential, and a basic understanding of BIM Level 2, Golden Thread principles, and the client journey will be advantageous.
