Elevate Flexible Legal Resourcing is seeking a Funds Lawyer, UK/EU-qualified associate trained within a top firm's investment funds team. The candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience and excellent Investment Funds, Private Funds, and Asset Management experience. The role is available to start ASAP.
Location: Croydon, hybrid 2 to 3 days in the office.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Advising clients on fund formation, structuring, and operation of various investment funds, including private equity, pension, hedge, and real estate funds.
2. Drafting and reviewing fund documentation, assisting with regulatory compliance, providing legal support on fund transactions, conducting due diligence, and preparing reports on fund investments.
3. Advising fund sponsors on operation, compliance issues, portfolio investment matters, and general partner/manager compensation.
Key Requirements: A thorough understanding of the legal and regulatory aspects of fund management, excellent analytical skills, and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
