Job Title: Credit Risk Manager. You will lead a team of analysts to drive strategic change across Lendable’s consumer finance products in the UK and US. You will optimize credit decisioning, build predictive models, and leverage Python and SQL to extract actionable insights, directly impacting the performance of a high-growth, profitable fintech portfolio.

What you will do
* Define and refine complex credit strategies to optimize who the company lends to, at what rate, and for what amount.
* Lead and develop a team of junior analysts, fostering their technical growth and ensuring the delivery of high-quality portfolio insights.
* Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering and Product teams to implement data-driven strategies and monitor their success using machine learning and AI.
The ideal candidate
* Demonstrates daily coding proficiency in Python and SQL with a proven track record in credit risk strategy within consumer lending.
* Possesses a strategic mindset with the ability to translate complex data sets into clear, commercial decisions that align with responsible lending goals.
* Has experience leading and mentoring junior analysts in a fast-paced environment where they are comfortable challenging assumptions and driving meaningful change.
