PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To prepare and spray paint details and assemblies to meet customer specifications.
Paint Sprayers are responsible for preparing and applying paint to products with a high-quality finish.
Responsibilities
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
* Prepare products for painting.
* Spray paint details and assemblies using water-based primers and polyurethane topcoats to aerospace standards.
* Achieve high-quality paint finishes.
* Follow schedules and control costs.
* Maintain health and safety standards and ensure good housekeeping.
Qualifications
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must provide sufficient detail on their application form demonstrating how they meet the essential criteria, as this will be used for vetting.
Essential Criteria
* Willingness to work across all sites and shift systems as required.
* At least 3 years of paint spraying experience in manufacturing or car body repair within the past 5 years.
Preferable Criteria
* City and Guilds Part 1 or 2, or NVQ Level 3 in Paint Spraying.
Shift work may be required, including days, nights, or rotating patterns.
