About the Role
Churchill Estates Management is recruiting an exceptional Lodge Manager for our retirement development. We seek someone passionate about working with people, with a background in administration and customer service. This varied role involves coordinating development activities and making a positive difference in the lives of our homeowners, providing a hassle-free retirement living experience.
Reporting to the Area Manager, you will manage property maintenance and deliver first-class service to owners. As the on-site trusted 'go-to' person and a 'friendly neighbour,' you'll liaise with customers and suppliers, manage contractors, schedule maintenance, perform health and safety checks, organize activities and events, and more.
This role is crucial to the success of the Lodge and the enjoyment of our Owners, offering a highly rewarding experience.
About You
This position suits individuals with experience in retirement living, social housing, hospitality, uniformed services, charity, or health & social care sectors. A successful Lodge Manager loves working 'front of house,' providing exceptional customer service and demonstrating excellent administrative skills.
You should have a passion for customer service, an outgoing and friendly personality, and the ability to act with sensitivity and diplomacy. You must also be efficient, assertive, and capable of managing safety and security, remaining calm under pressure. While engaging frequently with residents, you should be comfortable working independently and using your initiative.
To organize events and maintain site administration effectively, you should be computer literate, experienced with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Outlook.
