Teaching Personnel are recruiting for passionate Teaching Assistants to join our schools, supporting students of primary and secondary ages.
Your role as a Teaching Assistant will be to support students and teaching staff on a day-to-day basis. You will have a key role in helping students reach their full potential socially, emotionally and academically.
Key Responsibilities
Support the teacher in planning and delivering lessons.
Work with small groups or one-to-one students to improve academic progress.
Assist pupils in accessing lessons, including those with additional learning needs (SEN).
Support behaviour management, promote a positive learning environment.
Supervise pupils during lunch, break times, or other non-classroom periods, as required.
The Right Candidate Qualities:
Experience working with children
Good communication skills and interpersonal skills
Patient, adaptable, and able to respond to changing environments in a classroom
Reliable, organised, and able to work well as part of a team.
Experience of working in a school environment.
Teaching Personnel welcome applicants from both mainstream and SEN backgrounds.
Work Pattern:
Monday to Friday
Hours: 08:30 – 3:30pm

Thatcham and Newbury, West Berkshire, RG14 / RG18

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
