Your new job working as a Senior Account Handler/Technician will be working for an established Global Lloyd's Brokers who employ over 700 employees. Due to expansion within the North American property team, a permanent role for a Senior Account Handler / Technician has arisen.
Your new role
Your new role as a Senior Account Handler / Technician will be working in the North American property team, meaning you will be responsible for providing open-market technical support in the team on Insurance/Reinsurance, single-slip/multi-layered programmes, including catastrophe-exposed areas. You will be working as part of the North American Team servicing business as required. Some key responsibilities include the day-to-day client servicing, from initial submission of risks to hand over to the technical team for invoicing. You will prepare a renewal presentation to broke to underwriters. Prepare Open Market Reform Contracts including endorsements and any adjustments, working in conjunction with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring conditions and terms of cover in response to client’s needs. Other duties will include producing client documentation as ensuring Contract Certainty.
This role will also include preparing statistical analysis, including loss runs where necessary. You will also be expected to undertake any other responsibilities which may be necessary for the proper performance of the role.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this role, you must have experience producing
North American Open Market Property documentation to include MRC slips, ideally working knowledge of crystal and be able to use where appropriate, be able to use Electronic Placement systems and be proficient in Microsoft Office Programmes, including Outlook, Internet Explorer and Total Objects/GXB. You should be able to manage workload and act independently.
