Job Title: Senior QA Tester

Two Point Studios sizzled into existence in the summer heat of 2016 with a goal to create amazing, deep simulation games that remain accessible to everyone, and to have a bit of fun while doing it. Our titles include Two Point Hospital and Two Point Campus. We’re part of the SEGA family and are focused on creating engaging worlds within the Two Point County. Senior QA Tester: We’re looking for an experienced QA professional to carry out testing on our games to ensure they meet our high-quality standards and that the game worlds behave as intended.
About the job: Your main responsibility will be to perform thorough and accurate testing across multiple platforms (PC/desktop formats, current and next-generation consoles). You will test both legacy and new content, and explore brand-new projects as they are developed. You will perform destructive and exploratory testing, follow detailed test plans, and ensure thorough testing for Two Point projects.
You’ll be responsible for:
* Working closely with the QA Lead to ensure workloads are completed within deadlines and taking a leadership role in their absence if required.
* Carrying out test plans and structured testing.
* Conducting destructive and exploratory testing to identify issues and pinpoint causality.
* Communicating and coordinating with internal and external testing teams, both in the UK and abroad.
* Entering issues into our database with appropriate supporting evidence and descriptive detail.
* Taking ownership of issues from entry to resolution, monitoring development team requests, and responding to comments or questions.
* Reporting critical issues, test results, and task progress to the QA Lead.
* Collaborating with the studio to release high-quality content within deadlines.
Required knowledge, skills & experience:
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Some experience in a QA role, preferably in a development studio.
* Previous experience testing on PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch platforms, and using associated target management and SDK software.
* Proficient time management and organizational skills, able to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
* A proactive and inventive approach to destructive/unstructured testing.
* Experience executing test plans and carrying out effective targeted exploratory testing.
* Experience playing a variety of games, including the Management/Simulation genre.
* A passion for video games and a desire to contribute to the creative process involved in game development.
Desirable:
* Experience playing Two Point Hospital and Two Point Campus.
* Knowledge of the development process and the various disciplines involved.
* Experience using Jira and other project management software (Trello, Confluence, etc.).
* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
