Your new role
As Medical Affairs Therapeutic Area Lead, you’ll shape strategy for emerging therapy areas, drive collaboration across functions, and help bring innovative treatments closer to patients.
In this role, you will:
1. Lead the UK medical strategy in alignment with global and local healthcare priorities
2. Provide expert input across research, regulatory, and market access functions
3. Build strong relationships with healthcare professionals and scientific leaders
4. Act as final medical signatory and mentor on compliance and standards
5. Support clinical research and real-world evidence generation
6. Drive scientific communication through publications, events, and expert engagement
7. Lead strategic projects to position Novo Nordisk at the forefront of new therapies

Your skills & qualifications

What you bring:
8. Advanced scientific degree (MD, MBBS, or PhD)
9. Experience in medical affairs or a similar role within the pharmaceutical industry
10. Certified medical signatory or willingness to become one
11. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
12. Strategic, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, international setting
