Overview
We would like to invite you to join our Mental Health Occupational Therapy Service in Fife. Our dedicated team of Occupational Therapists and healthcare support workers work with the people of Fife aged 16 years and over who are experiencing mental health problems. The posts are based in a variety of locations in order to contribute to and oversee delivery of Occupational Therapy within both community and in‑patient settings, and to ensure agility to prioritise clinical risk and demand across the Mental Health Occupational Therapy Service. This post is predominantly based within our older adult services.
Key Responsibilities
* Work with a wide range of patients using effective and autonomous clinical decision‑making and evidence‑based practices to enable patients to achieve personal outcomes.
* Actively contribute to service redesign work and support the reshaping of how Occupational Therapy services are developed and delivered in Fife.
* Provide protected CPD time, in‑service training, and clinical supervision to support professional and personal development.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high‑quality, patient‑centred care.
Qualifications & Experience
* Existing Band 6 Occupational Therapists or Band 5 Occupational Therapists looking to make the next step in their career.
* Skills, knowledge, and interest to develop professionally and make a positive impact within the field of mental health.
* Understanding and application of evidence‑based practices in occupational therapy.
