Starting Salary: £25,992 (Level one) rising to £26,835 (Level three) per annum (pro rata for part-time). Part-time salary: approximately £13,200 per annum.

About the Role
To maintain passenger comfort while providing transport to and from Special Educational Schools and Day Centres. Providing care, responsive and effective support whilst driving passengers with physical, mental, and/or developmental disabilities.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
* Ability to ensure the vehicle is fit for the route and complies with maintenance schedules. Completing daily 1st use checks and operating the tail lift correctly. Securing all wheelchairs properly according to training.
* Ability to liaise with Passenger Assistants, parents/carers, and other professionals, reporting issues promptly.
* Compliance with infection control protocols at all times to prevent infection spread.
* Full UK driving licence with a D1 category (or category D).
* Capability for manual handling of people, including pushing wheelchairs, supporting ambulant passengers, assisting with tail lifts, and securing wheelchairs on board.
A DBS enhanced check is required for this position.
