Situated in Leyland, Lancashire, the College is near the M6, M61 and M65 and within commuting distance of Manchester, Liverpool and the Lake District.We are inviting applications for the exciting vacancy of Head of School: Computing and Digital Technologies.
The School currently comprises A Level Computer Science; Level 3 Computing & ICT; Level 3 Esports; T Level Digital Production, Design and Development; Level 2 T Level Transition; Level 1 IT with Business; and, for adult learners, Level 3 Software Development and Level 5 Web Application Development.
The School coordinates the College’s participation in the Ministry of Defence’s Cyber Bursary Scheme and is a MEGA Hub for the CyberFirst programme’s work with high schools in the area.
This is an ideal role for a strong and dynamic leader who is passionate about this fast-changing sector, and would be committed to leading growth and continuous improvement in the College’s digital provision.
