Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust (GHC) is seeking experienced dietitians to join the bank. We offer a variety of specialist services that can benefit from bank shifts within commuting distance to GHC sites.
The post holder should be able to work independently, have clinical experience at band 6 level, and be available at short notice.
Key service experience required includes:
* Diabetes (mainly Type 2)
* Macmillan Cancer Rehabilitation (weight management, nutrition support, gastro)
* Community Hospital Inpatients (Stroke and general medical wards)
* Complex Care at Home (Nutrition support, Diabetes, Gastro)
* Cardiac Rehabilitation
* Mental Health Services (Inpatient Units and Eating Disorders)
We welcome discussions about the opportunities prior to application. Successful applicants may need to drive between sites around Gloucestershire, so a UK Driving licence and access to a vehicle are preferred, especially for Diabetes, Macmillan, and Complex Care at Home services.
The role involves providing expert nutrition and dietetic support, guiding team members, supporting education, and participating in MDT meetings to identify dietetic intervention needs.
