Our client, a leading business in the Manufacturing sector is seeking a Head of Finance to join them on a full-time, permanent basis. Due to an exciting period our client is looking for a Head of Finance to join their Finance function, working closely with the Finance Director to help oversee the day-to-day running of the finance function, ensuring robust compliance and reporting across the business. The ideal candidate will be a fully-qualified Accountant (ACA / CIMA / ACCA), with a minimum of 2 years’ industry experience who is used to working in-house, overseeing the finance function of an established business. Key Responsibilities: * Lead a small finance team of 2, ensuring the efficient delivery of daily finance functions * Lead monthend close process, delivery timely and accurate management accounts * Preparing and submitting monthly reports * Preparing quarterly VAT returns * Managing and overseeing payroll * Support and assist within internal finance projects * Support the Finance Director with analysis and adhoc tasks * Complete intercompany reconciliations and reports Key Experience: * Qualified Accountant – ACA / ACCA / CIMA with a minimum of 2 years’ inhouse experience * Must have a handson approach, happy to get involved with different areas of the business where necessary * Experience working with partner companies would be advantageous * Strong experience in management accounts, payroll, VAT returns, reporting and intercompany processes * ERP experience would be ideal although not essential * Confident working with management of all levels across the business This is a fantastic opportunity go a Head of Finance to join a thriving business who are leaders within their field, experiencing an exciting period.
