Field Service Electrical Engineer
Fox ESS is seeking a skilled and experienced Field Service Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of solar inverters and battery storage systems across various sites in the UK. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform routine maintenance and inspections on installed systems to ensure optimal performance.
* Diagnose and repair faults in solar inverters and battery storage systems promptly and efficiently.
* Provide technical support and training to customers on the operation and maintenance of solar inverters and battery systems.
* Act as a point of contact for customers, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
* Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including conducting risk assessments and ensuring safe working practices.
* Maintain accurate records of all installations, maintenance, and repairs.
* Prepare detailed reports on system performance, faults, and any corrective actions taken.
Qualifications and Experience
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
* NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
* Proven experience in the installation and maintenance of electrical systems, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
* Full UK driving licence.
Desirable
* Experience with solar inverters and battery storage systems.
* Additional qualifications in renewable energy systems or related fields.
