An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join our independent mixed animal practice to help with the small animal side. We are an RCVS approved nurse training practice with a rapidly growing and varied small animal caseload.
Our spacious, purpose-built clinic has been recently refurbished with separate dog and cat wards and offers the usual range of diagnostic facilities including in-house laboratory, digital x-ray, ultrasound and a well-equipped theatre.
Whether you are an experienced or newly graduated nurse there are plenty of opportunities to practice and further develop your skills with the support of 4 vets, 1 practice manager, 1 RVN, 1 SVN and 5 receptionists.
Thanks to our dedicated reception team you can focus on the nursing duties while they answer the phones and manage the front of the house.
Our team is friendly and inclusive and it is highly important to us that any new addition to the team shares these values. The successful candidate should be enthusiastic and driven to provide the highest standard of patient and client care.
Your work would include monitoring anaesthesia, assisting the vets with the consults when needed, looking after inpatients, and getting involved with nurse consultations if that is of your interest.
Candidates MUST be eligible to work in the United Kingdom and have the relevant visas, if required. Must also be registered on the RCVS register.
