Overview
We\'re on the hunt for genuinely caring, hands-on Support Workers with a passion for enhancing the quality of life of the people we support. As a support worker you\'ll help people gain more independence in their daily lives, while working within a dynamic team to support a fantastic group of people. Our residential service in Ruddington is a welcoming and friendly environment where no two days will be the same. You\'ll enhance lives by teaching new life skills, assisting with personal care, encouraging local community access, socialising and doing activities. One day you could be out with the people we support in local bars and pubs, the next unwinding with them playing video games, watching films or going to the cinema. This role is for someone looking to make a real difference and help individuals grow in confidence and independence to meet their goals, whether that be cooking dinner by themselves or going on holiday.
We are looking for Support Workers with the right experience and values. At this service, we expect you to hold a full UK driving licence, be resilient, flexible and composed, have experience with following Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice, and experience working with individuals requiring enhanced support, including behaviours of distress, mental health conditions, autism, forensic histories and people who have experienced trauma.
Why choose us? We embrace people\'s differences and encourage you to Be You. With the passion to make someone\'s life better, we provide the skills and development opportunities you need to build a great career. We offer excellent training from induction through your career, with opportunities for promotion and progression and job security in a sector-leading organisation.
