Client Services Administrator Financial Planning
About the Role:
We are looking for a motivated and organised Client Services Administrator to join our financial planning team. You will play a key role in supporting advisers, clients, and the wider team, ensuring that client files are accurately maintained, processes are completed efficiently, and excellent service is delivered at all times. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within financial services.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver on team objectives and support the wider business as required, including client-facing and administrative tasks.
2. Maintain accurate client files and CRM records in line with company guidelines and standards.
3. Assist in meeting and greeting clients, handling incoming enquiries, and supporting advisers with day-to-day operations.
4. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards including the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000, FCA rules, and internal policies (AML, Data Protection, Consumer Duty).
5. Provide assistance to your reporting line and collaborate across teams to maintain smooth operations.
6. Complete work tasks in accordance with company processes and standards.
Skills & Competencies:
7. Minimum Grade 4 (or equivalent) in GCSE English Language and Mathematics.
8. Experience providing administrative support in a financial planning or related financial services environment.
9. Strong understanding of the UK financial regulatory framework and legislation.
10. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
11. High level of attention to detail with strong organisational skills.
12. Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
13. Collaborative team player with a commitment to professional standards and ethical practices.
14. Ability to operate in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
Desirable:
15. Ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple tasks effectively.
16. Capability to analyse situations and seek additional information to complete tasks.
17. Willingness to engage in ongoing training and development.
18. Experience working towards or holding a CII Level 2 (LP2) qualification.
