From partial or total body re-manufacturing, they can build vehicles to each customers precise specification.
Job Purpose: As an HGV Yard Driver, youll be responsible for the safe and timely movement of heavy goods vehicles within the yard and between operational areas.
Youll support the workshop, logistics, and delivery teams by ensuring vehicles are positioned correctly and ready for inspection, maintenance, or dispatch.
Key Responsibilities: Drive and manoeuvre HGVs (including refuse vehicles) within the yard and between designated areas Position vehicles for loading, unloading, inspection, and maintenance Conduct basic vehicle checks and report any issues or defects Assist with reversing and docking procedures as needed Maintain accurate xjlbheb records of vehicle movements and yard activity Always ensure compliance with health and safety regulations Requirements Valid HGV license (Class 2 minimum; Class 1 preferred) Experience operating HGVs in a yard or depot environment Strong understanding of vehicle safety and yard protocols
