Legal Secretary - Commercial Property

* Job Type: Full-Time
* Salary: £28,460
* Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm with an hour lunch

We are excited to offer a position at a leading law firm that is seeking a Legal Secretary to support a commercial property Fee Earner due to a recent retirement.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Document Preparation: Draft, format, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and reports.
* File Management: Maintain and organize client files, ensuring all documents are up-to-date and easily accessible.
* Client Communication: Handle client inquiries, schedule appointments, and manage correspondence.
* Diary Management: Manage calendars for solicitors, including scheduling meetings.
* Billing and Invoicing: Assist with the preparation of bills and invoices, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
* Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support, including photocopying, filing, and data entry.
* Audio Typing: Transcribe dictations and audio recordings accurately and efficiently.
* Legal Applications: Complete land registry applications and SDLT returns.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Legal Secretary, preferably in commercial property.
* Proficiency in audio typing with a high level of accuracy and speed.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and legal practice management software.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
* High level of attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently.
