Bid Coordinator

* Salary: £30,000 - £40,000
We are excited to offer an opportunity for a creative and detail-oriented Bid Coordinator to join a fast-growing business. As a Bid Coordinator, you will not only manage the bid lifecycle but also have the opportunity to enhance document aesthetics, improving the visual presentation of bid submissions. This position allows you to truly make the role your own, offering vast potential for personal and professional growth and a pathway to potentially develop into a Bid Manager position. Reporting to the Bid Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless handover of successful bids to the delivery team.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Manage the central inbox and team diaries, ensuring efficient scheduling and communication.
* Download Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQ) and Invitation to Tender (ITT) documents from various portals.
* Handle portal logins and manage the clarification process for opportunities being pursued.
* Proactively search for new business opportunities, extracting and passing pertinent information to the Business Development Team and Directors.
* Assist the Bid Manager in preparing tender submissions, focusing on uniformity and enhancing the visual formatting of documents using Adobe InDesign.
* Collaborate across the business to prepare compelling tender proposal documents.
* Maintain accurate records of new and incoming tender information to keep the team informed of upcoming deadlines.
* Ensure the bid library is up-to-date with current certificates, policies, and process documents for inclusion in response documents.
* Handle new business telephone calls and relay important information to the Business Development Team and Directors.
* Organise and attend weekly team meetings to ensure alignment and efficient operation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Highly motivated with a keen eye for detail.
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
* Confident communicator with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Must have knowledge and proficiency in Adobe InDesign.
* Significant experience in writing and designing tenders.
* Experience with CRM systems like Monday.com is advantageous but not essential.
