We’re looking for a Sales Manager to join our Telephone Account Management (TAM) team. In this role, you’ll be coaching, training, and driving the performance of a team of eight Account Managers and Customer Success Executives. You'll play a pivotal role in helping your team deliver great conversations, stronger customer retention, and improved revenue - all while building a thriving, motivated, and engaged team culture. What you’ll be doing Coaching & Development: Running regular side-by-side coaching sessions and Teams meetings to identify strengths, drive improvements, and unlock potential within the team. Performance Management: Leading weekly KPI reviews, celebrating successes, addressing performance gaps, and implementing targeted initiatives to raise standards. Strategic Planning: Using data and insights to create regional or patch plans, aligning team activity with wider business goals and revenue targets. Team Motivation: Inspiring your team to hit productivity, retention, and sentiment targets through focused leadership and practical support. Operational Communication: Delivering clear operational updates and confidently presenting at TAM team meetings (conference style). Talent Recruitment: Conducting interviews to ensure high-quality new hires and maintain a high-performing, consistent team. Stakeholder Engagement: Sharing key performance updates with senior stakeholders and the Head of Telephone Account Management. Escalation Support: Managing customer complaint escalations effectively and coaching the team to take ownership of problem-solving. Business Analysis: Spotting revenue trends, identifying risks and opportunities, and adjusting team strategies to meet evolving business needs. Project Leadership: Leading internal projects, sharing learnings, and feeding back insights to drive continuous improvement. Performance Monitoring: Implementing and monitoring performance management processes to drive team accountability and results. Who you are Experienced Leader: You have a strong track record of growing and developing teams to deliver high performance, ideally within an Account Management setup. Commercially Savvy: You’re comfortable working with KPIs and revenue targets, with the ability to craft strategies that drive sustainable success.
