We are seeking a passionate individual to help improve our operations to deliver more for the environment. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will analyze user and business needs, ensuring outcomes align with service vision and business strategy, bridging current and future business models, and supporting business architecture. You will act as a critical friend, challenge constructively, and lead effective communication with stakeholders at all levels, from project teams to technical staff.
Senior BAs will lead in identifying opportunities and implementing improvements within the Business Analysis Service, supporting colleagues, and shaping work scope.
The Team
The Business Analysis Service operates mainly within the Chief Regulator Group, supporting critical change initiatives. Our mission is to empower colleagues through insightful analysis to maximize opportunities and resources, aiding sustainable development and creating better places for people and wildlife.

Experience/Skills Required
* Leadership: Strong skills guiding colleagues, leading projects, and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
* Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills for conveying findings and recommendations.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Proven ability to engage senior stakeholders, ensuring alignment and buy-in.
* Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze complex problems and identify opportunities for informed decisions.
* Project Delivery: Experience managing analytical support products like requirements catalogues, impact assessments, and business process models.
Desirable Experience/Qualifications
* Extensive experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
* Relevant qualifications in business analysis.
* Ability to switch between tasks/projects supporting business needs.
* Experience working in Agile or GDS environments.
* Leading refinement sessions.
* Commitment to Continuous Professional Development and sharing expertise.
