We have a vacancy for a Security Manager to join the team. You will be responsible for leading the day‑to‑day security operation within a high‑profile, large‑scale venue, ensuring a safe, compliant and welcoming environment for customers and colleagues. You will oversee a large team and play a key role in maintaining licensing standards, managing risk, and driving operational excellence across the business.
Key skills and responsibilities include:
1. Leading and managing a large security team, ensuring high standards of performance, conduct and service.
2. Overseeing all day‑to‑day security operations to maintain a safe and compliant environment.
3. Ensuring full compliance with licensing conditions, legal requirements and company procedures.
4. Managing and investigating incidents, ensuring accurate reporting and appropriate escalation.
5. Coordinating security resources, team deployment and rota planning to meet business needs.
6. Working closely with internal departments to support smooth and secure operations.
7. Maintaining effective relationships with external stakeholders, including local authorities and emergency services.
8. Monitoring security systems and ensuring all equipment is operating effectively.
9. Producing clear, accurate reports and maintaining detailed departmental records.
10. Identifying areas for improvement and supporting the development of security processes and standards.
11. Demonstrating strong knowledge of legislation, compliance requirements and high‑volume security environments.
12. Communicating effectively with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
13. Remaining organised, professional and effective in a fast‑paced environment.
14. Working flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to meet business demands.
This is a 40-hour-per-week role, as necessary to meet business demands. Evening and weekend working should be expected.
