We are seeking a dedicated Teacher of Business Studies or Computer Science Teacher who is passionate about fostering a stimulating learning environment and delivering high-quality education and would be happy to teach both subjects. This role involves leading pupil learning effectively, contributing to curriculum development, and ensuring all students have the opportunity to succeed.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Lead pupil learning through dynamic teaching aligned with the Subject Team’s schemes of work and policies.
* Manage processes of identification, assessment, recording, and reporting for students.
* Utilize a variety of teaching methods to match curricular objectives and meet diverse pupil needs, including group work, active learning, and ICT.
* Maintain thorough knowledge of the National Curriculum and examination specifications.
* Set, mark, and assess work regularly, following the school's assessment policy.
* Prepare and present informative and accurate reports to parents and ensure effective communication with all stakeholders.
* Contribute to the school's extracurricular programs and enrichment opportunities within the subject area.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialization in Business Studies or Computer Science or a related field.
* Proven experience in teaching Business Studies and/or Computer Science at secondary level.
* Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and examination requirements for Business Studies and/ or Computer Science.
* Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to foster a positive learning environment.
* Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with staff, students, and parents.
