SEN Teaching Assistant – Full-Time Opportunity in Eccles (November Start) Teaching Personnel is proud to be partnering with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Eccles to recruit a committed SEN Teaching Assistant. This full-time position (8:30am – 3:30pm) is set to begin in November and involves providing tailored support to pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), both one-to-one and in small group settings. The school has been rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted and is dedicated to delivering a broad, balanced curriculum that supports every learner. You’ll join a collaborative and caring team focused on helping each child thrive in a nurturing environment. Key Responsibilities: Deliver focused support to pupils with SEN, individually and in small groups Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering differentiated learning activities Support the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) Help maintain an inclusive, engaging, and safe classroom environment Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to promote pupil progress Monitor and adapt support based on individual needs What We’re Looking For: GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths Experience working with children with SEN A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach to supporting young learners Strong communication and teamwork skills A commitment to safeguarding and child welfare Level 2 Safeguarding certification (training available if needed) Why Choose Teaching Personnel?
