Our client, a major UK retail bank, provides every day banking services to over 17 million retail customers. The banks expertise and services span across Business Services, Corporate banking, Wealth Management, Group Functions, Retail and Investment Banking. On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a Business Analyst for a 12- Month contract. The position offers flexibility to be based in Manchester, Edinburgh, London. Mainly remote, with 2 days as needed required in the office per month. Purpose of the role This is a classic, end-to-end Business Analyst role supporting a payments standards project. The successful candidate will work closely with both business and technology teams to define requirements, assess impacts, and support delivery through to testing. What you'll do Elicit, define and document business and technical requirements. Conduct impact assessments across systems and business processes. Facilitate workshops with a wide range of stakeholders. Work closely with developers, solution architects and technical teams. Support the test team to ensure scope and requirements are clearly understood. Assist the Project Manager with governance and delivery activities. The skills you'll need Strong end-to-end Business Analysis experience. Proven ability to produce both business and technical requirements documentation. Comfortable operating in complex change environments with multiple stakeholders. Experience supporting regulatory or standards-driven change initiatives. Exposure to SEPA, SWIFT, payment schemes or standards is beneficial. Regulatory change experience is considered highly transferable. Experience using delivery tools such as Jira and Confluence.
