Working alongside a team, this role will provide variety as well as structure. Roles/ResponsibilitiesCarry out planned and preventative maintenance on a weekly basisProvide mechanical and/or electrical fault finding and repair on production/processing machinerySupport production by ensuring machinery runs safely and efficientlyUndertake general site maintenance and first-line repairsLiaise with external contractors for specialist or major repair work when requiredMaintain and repair Lamination lines, wrappers, moulding machinery, peelers, granulators, shredders, splicers and baggers.What We're Looking ForA multiskilled engineer with both electrical and mechanical experienceA recognized engineering qualificationExperience in an industrial sectorAvailability to work night shiftsFAQs:How often is the night shift?This role includes a day shifts (6am-2pm) mon-fri and a nights shift (8pm-6am) Mon-thurs rotating weeklyHow is overtime paid?Overtime is paid at a rate of x1.5 if done during the week or on a Saturday and paid at double time if completed on a Sunday or Bank Holiday.How soon can I get started?This company is looking to interview in early January and will involve a maximum of 2 stages.Is this role suitable for my bias?This role is open to people with both an electrical or mechanical bias.
