What the School Offers A supportive and experienced leadership team A welcoming, collaborative and skilled staff community Well-resourced classrooms designed for sensory and personalised learning Access to specialist training and ongoing CPD (including complex needs and communication strategies) Opportunities for professional progression within SEN التعليم On-site parking and good local transport links About the Role As an SEN Teacher, you will: Plan and deliver highly personalised lessons tailored to pupils with MLD, PMLD and complex needs Adapt the curriculum to meet EHCP outcomes and individual learning profiles Use multi-sensory approaches and specialised teaching strategies to engage learners Support and develop pupils' communication, interaction and independence skills Work closely with Teaching Assistants and HLTAs, providing guidance and direction Collaborate with therapists, SENCOs and external professionals Monitor progress through observational assessment and personalised tracking methods Create a safe, structured and nurturing classroom environment Support pupils with complex physical, medical and personal care needs where required About You We welcome applications from individuals who: Essential Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification Have experience working with pupils with SEN, particularly MLD, PMLD or complex needs Can effectively differentiate and adapt learning for a wide range of abilities Have strong behaviour management rooted in positive and supportive approaches Demonstrate patience, resilience and a genuine commitment to inclusive education Have excellent communication and teamwork skills Desirable Experience in a specialist SEN or complex needs setting Knowledge of communication approaches such as PECS, Makaton, intensive interaction Understanding of sensory integration and multi-sensory learning Familiarity with SEND legislation and safeguarding practices Why Apply?
