We are looking for a solid Civil Engineer to join a large, multi-discipline consultancy out of their Wigan office.
The Role
As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality infrastructure design solutions across a range of development projects. Working as part of a collaborative design team, you will contribute to the technical delivery of schemes from initial concept through to detailed design and approval.

Key Responsibilities
* Assist in the design and delivery of infrastructure projects, ensuring work is completed on time and within budget.
* Prepare highway and drainage designs in accordance with agreed engineering strategies.
* Support the negotiation of technical approvals for adoptable works (S104, S38, S278 agreements, etc.).
* Ensure designs comply with current Codes of Practice and Health & Safety legislation.
* Undertake highway design, ground modelling, and external levels design (including Part M compliance).
* Carry out drainage design and hydraulic modelling, including Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS).
* Liaise effectively with colleagues, clients, and external stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential:
* 2+ years industry experience
* Degree or HNC qualified in Civil Engineering (or related discipline).
* Working knowledge of:
o Highway design and ground modelling
o Drainage design and hydraulic modelling
o Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS)
Ideally you would have experience with Civil3D, AutoCAD, PDS/Flow.
