Primary responsibilities
 * Develop relationships with potential borrowers of Catalyst Property Finance
 * Manage a geographical territory building Catalyst’s reputation for high quality lending solutions for developers
 * Originate new business, structure loan terms, submit applications, and support Credit to loan completion
 * Sales activity monitoring and reporting
Personal responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
 * Manage a set of key developer/borrower accounts
 * Make regular telephone calls to key accounts to build relationships and generate business enquiries
 * Arrange and host online (Team, Zoom, etc.) meetings with key accounts to introduce and inform on the Catalyst product range demonstrating how these can solve various complex financial requirements.
 * Regular social media activity on personal feeds in order to promote the company and your personal brand to your connections.
 * Arrange and attend face–to–face meetings to fully understand a clients business model, funding needs and long‑term prospects to establish if the client is a short‑, medium‑ or long‑term prospect
 * Structure, agree, and send heads of terms to solve a clients’ funding requirements.
 * Win new business and secure long‑term relationships for Catalyst Property Finance to fund multiple transactions with key target borrowers.
 * Work alongside key stakeholders within the business to establish a strong team focused culture; ensure that customer service is at the heart of everything we do
 * Report within the New Business team a clear sales pipeline, update team members with weekly reports on expected performance to achieve business goals
 * Keeping accurate and up‑to‑date records of borrower data whilst complying with all GDPR requirements
 * Update client requirement notes and any other information that will assist the business in understanding the client’s needs to best help sell our products.
 * Support the Marketing Director to ensure that the Catalyst Property Finance product range is marketed to the widest potential audience possible
Experience required
 * 3 years+ in a B2C/B2B business development or sales role, ideally within financial services/specialist finance/real estate markets.
 * Educated to a minimum of A Level standard, with a solid understanding of maths
 * An understanding of property transactions and property related legal requirements is advantageous
 * Experience of working with property developers and understanding development process is advantageous
 * Previous exposure to mortgage/loan requirements with an understanding of the process in obtaining finance
 * Confident on the phone and in meetings
 * Be of a smart appearance, promoting Catalyst Property Finance professional image to prospective clients.
