Are you a collaborative finance professional looking for an exciting new opportunity to join a growing business? Our client is looking for an Assistant Accountant with experience of accounts up to trail balance to join their successful finance team working from their office in Newmarket.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Management of both Purchase and Sales Ledgers
* Posting Journals, Accruals, Prepayments
* Processing monthly accounts up to trail balance
* Managing a shared finance inbox obtaining invoice approvals
* Preparing and processing weekly payment runs
* Completing bank reconciliations across multiple accounts and supplier statements
* Draft management accounts and balance sheet reconciliation
* Producing weekly aged creditor reports to support healthy cashflow
Key skills required for this role:
* A strong understanding of CIS
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel
* Strong communication skills confidently working with both internal and external stakeholders
* Self-motivator who is organised and able to prioritise their workload
