Job Description:
Sustainability Data Consultant
Go Green Experts is a boutique Net Zero & Sustainability consultancy committed to helping companies lower their carbon emissions and create a robust strategy to achieve Net Zero.
We have recently defined a new strategic vision aligning our future plans to accommodate for continuous growth and delivering maximum impact for our customers.
Due to this, we are expanding our team with an exciting opportunity to join us as a tech-driven Sustainability Data Consultant to help deliver exceptional results for our customers and contribute to the growth of our consultancy.
We are looking to hire a trained, like-minded professional with experience in the sustainability consultancy space or has specialized previously in Net Zero projects, who is passionate about sustainability and eager to drive real environmental and social change through pioneering data-driven solutions.
As a Sustainability Data Consultant, you will guide our stakeholders' environmental objectives by providing advice and guidance during various projects. This involves processing complex data into clear reports for clients and assessing business data to produce meaningful roadmaps for decarbonization and certifications.
This role offers a proactive individual the opportunity to advance their consulting career, ideal for someone with excellent attention to detail, a hands-on approach, and confidence to innovate and improve existing processes.
You will process large data sets, conduct carbon footprint analyses, and support environmental assessment projects, including defining Net Zero roadmaps and identifying opportunities for client support and business growth.
To succeed, you should be proficient with data management, analysis, and reporting tools, and have a solid understanding of Net Zero, sustainability standards (e.g., UN SDGs, SBTi, ESOS, SECR, UK SDS, ISO 14001), and familiarity with IT systems, Machine Learning, and AI principles.
The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree or higher in Environmental Science, Sustainability, STEM, or related fields, with at least two years' experience in a sustainability consultancy or within FTSE 250 organizations, and have a good understanding of sustainability frameworks and stakeholder engagement.
