We are looking for an experience Quality Engineer to join a fast growing team.
What we're looking for:
* Keen eye for details; ensuring that products and incoming materials meet quality standards
* Great customer service
* Confidence to identify and raise quality issues
* Capability to work in a team environment, as well as working independently
* Quality / Engineering background
* Experience in Root Cause tools (ideally 8D knowledge)
* Audit Experience AS9100
* Previous experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment, preferably aerospace
* Experience of working in Quality Assurance
Responsibilities:
1. Follow compliance
2. Communication with customers, supplier and 3rd Parties using internal or their specified documents
3. Manage customer returns
4. Liaise with production team where required to feedback any quality issues (both internal and external)
5. Interpret and understand engineer drawings and other relevant technical documents
6. Writing / amending of procedures and/or work instructions as required
7. Carry out Internal audits to AS9100/AS13100
8. Investigate into root cause of non-conforming product; 8D problem solving
9. Calibration Control via Gagepack database, calibrated gauges, ...
