About the Role
We are seeking a Full Stack Developer to join our team at Big Atom Ltd. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining our web applications that support our mission of recycling tyres and creating eco-friendly products. Your contributions will help shape our technology as we grow.
Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Python and Django.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and enhance user interfaces with the React framework.
* Design, implement, and mange AWS cloud services, including S3, Elastic Beanstalk, and RDS.
* Work with PostgreSQL databases to ensure data integrity and performance.
* Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
* Identify and fix bugs in a timely manner to enhance user experience.
* Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with team members.
* Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our tech stack.
Requirements
* 3+ years of experience in full stack development.
* Proficiency in Python and Django for backend development.
* Strong experience with the React framework for frontend development.
* Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services (S3, Elastic Beanstalk, RDS).
* Solid understanding of PostgreSQL and database management.
* Strong skills in developing and enhancing user interfaces.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with other cloud services and technologies.
* Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token.
* Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git.
* Understanding of Agile methodologies.
